Did you know that you do not have to use the EasyOrg built-in editor when editing your notes? EasyOrg actually works very well together with an external editor so that you can use the powerful Agenda features.
How to do it
It's all very simple. All you have to do is open the org-file(s) of interest in EasyOrg as well as in your editor of choice.
Now when you edit some text and save the file, EasyOrg will automatically reload the file and re-render the agenda. This means you can use the external editor and EasyOrg Agenda side by side.
One thing to look out for though is that you should avoid changing the file at the same time in both editors without saving in between switching editor. Otherwise you might end up with two versions of the file. EasyOrg will keep track and notify you of any such issues, so that you can take action before overwriting or re-loading, but it's best to avoid this situation by only editing in one tool at the time.
